AVAIA | uh-vay-uh

meaning: one of a kind

This collection came together slowly, yet organically. I had some techniques in mind, but most of these styles came about just by playing around and enjoying the making process. Each piece turns out different from the next, hence the name AVAIA — one of a kind. Hand molding, hand texturing, hand laid resin, hand mixing to create unique marbling, and one of a kind beads make up these pieces.

AVAIA #1 is available in a statement size and every day size. This style resembles the look of ceramic without the weight of ceramic.* The coloring may vary from earring to earring, but overall appears like a rosewood/light brown color.

*These earrings may be a tad heavier than typical clay earrings, but not to the point of discomfort.

Polymer clay is very lightweight and durable/pliable. Like any earrings, please treat them with gentle care. Breaking should not occur, but on the off chance it does, please contact me. 

To remove makeup: gently use a cotton ball or Q-tip with acetone nail polish remover. DO NOT use acetone on certain decorative earrings. Ex. Gold leaf paint, exposed mica powder, etc. If you are unsure if you can use acetone on your earrings, please don't hesitate to ask.

Highly recommend not to wear clay earrings during shower/bath and/or swimming etc

Avoid direct contact with creams and perfumes.

Do not expose to high temperature for long periods of time.
